To Register in Florida, you must be:
- A U.S. citizen,
- A Florida resident, and
- At least 18 years old (you may also pre-register if you are 16 or 17 years old but you cannot vote until you are 18)
- Have not been adjudicated mentally incapacitated with respect to voting, or if you have, your right to vote has been restored
- Have not been convicted of a felony, or if you have been convicted of a felony, your right to vote has been restored. If you have questions about your eligibility, see Restoration of Civil Rights.
